We have been busy writing. Some of the songs on the upcoming CD are Country Girl, Hard Drivin' Cowboy, Someone, Baby won't ya rock me & Single Guy Blues. All of which are pretty good songs.
Spike wrote a song this week as well. There isn't a real title as of yet, so we tentatively called it "Lowdown". He popped over to my place and we threw an acoustic track and scratch vocal down. I think its a pretty good song. Cudo's to Spike.
We are trying to make him sing it as well but you know how drummers are!!!!!!!!

Toby's party was great. We played our 5 songs and they called for an encore. We played Sweet Home Alabama. Imagine that, they called for an encore and they hadn't even started drinking yet. We were psyched.We are still writing for the Hard Drivin' Cowboy album. The current songlist is:

A couple that are yet to be named. The album is progressing nicely. We are currently looking for an investor or a bunch of investors so we can finish it up IE..The studio time and the replication.
In other news, we are submitting "Hard Drivin Cowboy" in the Nashville Songwriters Associations 2nd annual song writers contest. The song has really taken on a life of its own. The more we practice it and tweek it the better it sounds.
Nothing new on the writing contest.
Even more new's, we are going to enter the Colgate Country Showdown in the spring. I believe its gonna be in Augusta this year. We will need all of your support in the crowd. We will let you know the specifics of where and when. Hell, maybe we can even rent a bus and take a crowd up. Make a day out of it. I'm smelling Margaritta's on the capitol step's.
